Norman Hallendy’s Arctic Journey

Sunday, May 12
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Join us to celebrate Norman Hallendy, an internationally recognized ethnographer, author, and photographer and his significant contribution to the understanding of Inuit culture with films, tours, and Inukshuk family talks. For over thirty years, Norman Hallendy has shared his passion for Inuit traditional culture and perception of the environment through his books, lectures, films, and photography. Thousands of Hallendy's colour images taken during his numerous visits to the north were recently entrusted to the McMichael, complementing his earlier donation of Inuit artworks. At 1:30 p.m. there will be a special presentation by Norman Hallendy, Sakka: Observing the Invisible.

Join us at Cashew and Clive Cafe for our special Prix Fixe Menu Mother's Day Lunch! Reservation recommended.
