McMichael Magazine

A.Y. Jackson said that “to Lawren Harris, art was almost a mission. He believed that a country which ignored the arts left no record of itself worth preserving.” The McMichael wants to make a contribution to that record with this publication dedicated to telling the stories of Canada’s art and artists.

Everyone who visits the McMichael has the opportunity to experience the beauty of the grounds, the quiet of the trails, and the luminous works in the galleries. And now visitors can also enjoy stunning works, learn about artists and art making, and engage with knowledgeable staff through McMichael Magazine. This publication celebrates new directions in exploring the McMichael collection and Canadian art in a broader context.
