To help your students get the most they can out of their gallery visit, use the McMichael’s excellent classroom resources.

Published Teacher Resource Packages

Developed by McMichael educators, these curriculum-linked materials are tied to gallery programs. They cover the Group of Seven, as well as landscape painting, Inuit art, and work by First Nations artists.

Components include pre-visit activities and emphasize artistic history, visual awareness and vocabulary, so students can appreciate and discuss works of art. The resources address curriculum expectations.
