NEW! McMichael Master Class at Killarney Provincial Park Watercolour Landscape Painting, with William Rogers
Tuesday, September 30 to Sunday, October 5 (six classes)
Recognized as one of Ontario’s painting paradises, Killarney Park inspired several generations of artists, from the Group of Seven’s A.Y. Jackson and Franklin Carmichael to more contemporary artists such as Ed Bartram and John Hartman.
This class will provide a unique opportunity to experience the park with renowned en plein air watercolour master, William Rogers. President of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, William Rogers recently served as the Royal Tour Artist for the 2014 Royal Tour of Canada with HRH Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Combining an intensive painting experience with hikes, nature talks, and an opportunity to socially interact with like-minded people, this class offers a rare possibility to enjoy the beauty of the Killarney’s fall colours in a creative and engaging way. This program was developed in partnership with Killarney Provincial Park and will make use of the Park’s lodging facilities.
