Discover the vibrant Newfoundland and Labrador artistic community with Patricia Grattan, curator of the exhibition Changing Tides: Contemporary Art of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Pam Hall, an interdisciplinary visual artist, filmmaker, and writer. The concert will include opening remarks about the exhibition Changing Tides: Contemporary Art of Newfoundland and Labrador at 2:00 pm. From 3:00 to 4:00 pm, an informal discussion entitled “Meet the Curator and Artists” will be held in the gallery spaces. Included with gallery admission.

Exploring Newfoundland Art
Explore Newfoundland through music, stories, and art, including a hooked rug workshop. At 1:30 pm, Pam Hall will read from her award winning children's book On the Edge of the Eastern Ocean, as well as from Al Pittman’s Down by Jim Long’s Stage. From 2:30 to 3:30 pm, don't miss the folk music performance Stories and Songs of Where We Come From with Gord Simmons and What the Folk.
