Diana and Emma met while studying together at Wilfrid Laurier University. Their debut performance as the San Agustin Duo at the Burgos International Music Festival in Spain was met with enthusiastic response and they have continued to garner praise for their warm sound, tight ensemble, and sincerity in performance. Their work has led to repeat invitations at several performance venues. As faithful and sensitive performers of the standard repertoire for violin and piano, the San Agustin Duo also maintains a commitment to the performance of new compositions, especially by Canadian composers.
