Our popular weekday series is back with J.E.H. MacDonald, a painter, poet, and writer, who assumed a mentoring position within the Group of Seven and, through his leadership of the Ontario College of Art, influenced a whole generation of Canadian artists. A sensitive friend, devoted husband and father, he was sorely missed after his untimely death in 1932 that triggered the disbandment of the Group. Come and learn his story with Anna Stanisz, Assistant Curator of Education and Programs.
