Expand your awareness of colour and extend the power of art into your everyday design decisions at home. Outside Inside explores the transferable knowledge between fine art and applied art that makes everyday living extraordinary!
Drawing inspiration from the McMichael’s permanent collection, students will explore the use of colour in visual art and how it can influence design and the built environment. The conceptual and emotional impact of colour, as well as colour trends and their longevity, will be examined through gallery tours, slide lectures, and studio art projects.
