Weekend Custodian

We are recruiting for a part-time weekend Custodian, working 16 hours per weekend.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, tasks include cleaning and cleaning-related functions of all gallery buildings as per job description, detailed task lists and custom requests.

The Custodian responds to work orders and performs required work for special events and functions to quality standards. Job will include movement of goods and materials within the gallery and site. The Custodian is responsible for removing garbage and recycling from the building, and working with Contractors to ensure proper sanitary procedures are maintained.

The candidate must have the ability to lift and push 25+ lb. and be able to regularly work Saturdays, Sundays, and some statutory holidays. WHMIS knowledge and/or valid First Aid are an asset.
