March Break Camp Assistants
Monday March 11 - Friday March 15, 2013 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
We are recruiting for two Assistants to support our March Break Drop in Camp.
Assistants will lead morning and lunchtime activities, ensuring that all materials needed for activities are available prior to start of camp. Assistants support the Instructor with preparation of materials, set-up and clean-up. Students are grouped based on their age and activities are structured to suit the age groups: 4 to 6 and 7 to 12. Assistants are the primary contact for morning sign in and afternoon pick up for the campers, and intermediary between the parents and the Instructor. The Assistants work with campers one-on-one, ensuring that they are using materials safely, repeat instructions if necessary, and provide encouragement.
Successful candidates will have experience working with children, have background in art and valid First aid training. Applicants must be able to work the full week from Monday March 11 through to Friday March 15, 2013 8:15 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., with a 45-minute unpaid lunch.
